A next gen manga universe co-created with the writer of every gamers’ favorite TV show
"The Way Forward" is an interactive manga created to help Omen build authentic connections with hardcore gamers worldwide. Combining source text from Phil Gelatt, the Emmy-winning writer of Netflix's Love, Death and Robots, with cutting-edge generative AI, it's a first-of-its-kind immersive experience that invites readers to shape future volumes of the series.
The Cultural Codes That Gave Us Instant Credibility
We knew the best way to reach our audience was by speaking their language, respecting their culture and offering them real value. Our research led us to two of their biggest passions: manga and Netflix’s Love, Death and Robots—the #1 adult animated show among this audience.
Partnering with Gelatt gave the project instant credibility while tapping into the gaming community's love for collaborative storytelling and shared universe-building.

A Transdimensional Battle That Gamers Instantly Saw Themselves In
Inspired by Omen's "Forever Forward" platform, the story follows three gamers pulled into a life-or-death transdimensional tournament called Ultra Maze, where they use their gaming skills—and an Omen laptop—to survive.
Thousands of fans on WeChat shared ideas for the next chapter, so one lucky fan's concept became the foundation for Volume 2, which evolved into a choose-your-own-adventure experience. The IP expanded further with a :60 animated video launching Omen's latest laptop, featuring our main characters on a new quest in the story.
